Star Trek’s George Takei Vs. Tennessee Ignorance
A bill has passed the Tennessee State Senate that makes it a crime for teachers to even mention homosexuality. George Takei, the happiest celebrity gay, has a message for all the students and educators in that backwards state of Tennessee.
(Seriously, Tennessee, you’re embarrassing the nation…no really, we mean it. We literally cannot believe you’re such bigots, and the rest of America apologizes to the world for not educating you well enough.)
For the rest of Tennessee, fret not, it’s okay to be Takei.
