‘Star Trek’ Terrorists Killed Osama bin Laden: German TV
While reporting to the world that terrorist Osama bin Laden was killed by the U.S. Navy SEAL team six, German news station N24 made an out of this world claim: the station inadvertently displayed the logo for ”Star Trek” Maquis Special Operations Seals Team VI–24th century terrorists determined to take down the militant alien Cardassians.
One might deduce that the Starfleet phaser and Klingon batleths (swords) might be out of place in a United States military logo, but then again Star Trek is an product of America, and we do love our Star Trek conventions.
And really, if anyone had the cajones to go after bin Laden, wouldn’t it be this bunch?
