Chris Matthews Compares Newt Gingrich to Freddy Kruegar
It was bound to happen sometime, but I admit, I didn’t expect it from Matthews.
If you paid attention to congress in the 90′s, you know what the host of Hardball is talking about. Think about all the slimy ways Republicans try to manipulate the electorate. Newt Gingrich avidly encouraged such pitiful behavior during the Clinton administration.
This is the same guy that railed against President Clinton’s extra-martial affair, while concurrently involved in his own.
You hear a lot about how intellectual and idea-centric Mr. Gingrich is… the problem is, even if you believe that, they’re his only redeeming qualities.
