‘Ignore Sarah Palin’ Petition Surpasses 32,000 Signatures

The Left Action Network attempting to declare a “Ignore Sarah Palin Week” has almost reached its goal of 35,000 signatures.

National Journal: “For just one week,” the website reads, “signers of this petition pledge to do the following: Change the channel if [Palin] comes on TV; Surf to another page if she pops up on the web; Turn to another article if she appears in a newspaper, magazine, comic book, etc.” Left Action goes so far as to suggest, “If a friend mentions ‘Sarah Palin,’ reply as if he or she said, ‘Parasailing.”
